Creeping Boy, Reading Girl

Well, it hasn't quite been 6 months since I last blogged, but it's close! Things have been crazy around here. We had Mariah's 2nd birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and then trying to help Chris get his thesis done. Rather than try to play catch up with all of that, I'm just going to share some of our most recent pictures.




We have an extremely mobile boy! He's not getting his belly off the ground while moving yet, but he can get just about anywhere! He will also get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. We've had to start putting up our baby gates again.



James and his cousin, Eric. Such big boys! James loves to grab on to Eric and try to taste him (as he does with EVERYTHING else!).




I was getting Mariah ready to go out in the snow to play, and I was struck by how silly she looks here. Hat, scarf, and rainboots. :D She had so much fun playing in the snow, and I was pleased with how well the boots kept her dry, even though she found a puddle to splash in.



My baby doll, Suzie, has been in Mariah's room since Mariah was born, but Mariah has never really noticed her until recently. I was helping Mariah clean her room, and I pulled out Suzie and showed her to Mariah. Suzie is now one of Mariah's favorite toys. Here Mariah is reading her favorite book, "1-2-3 Fish" to Suzie. :D
