18 Months!

I can't believe that this baby is a year and a half old! Mariah went to nursery alone yesterday and handled it like a pro. We had her 18 month appointment on Friday, and she is 33 inches tall and 25lbs. 2oz. She is gaining new words so fast that I can't keep track of them! One of her new favorites is hippo. She has a little soft plastic hippo tub toy that she loves (and even takes to bed with her sometimes). I'm also pretty sure that she said oatmeal this morning a few times (hard to tell with baby pronunciation!). She has jumped from 4 teeth to 6, with at least number 7 close behind, and maybe a few more. Mariah knows and recognizes the letter B, and gets excited when she sees it, especially on keyboards. Hopefully we'll get her excited about more than just one letter. She loves babies, and hopefully she'll be excited to be a big sister in less than 2 months! Where has this year gone? Someone opened a sealed package of wipes and emptied about 1/3 of the package before I got to her.

Mariah also loves to help her grandma with her homework.
This is one of the few times that Mariah has had pigtails,
after a few days she realized that she can pull them out!
